About the Author

Dr. M. J. Logan
 
M. J. Logan is a family nurse practitioner whose doctoral education was earned at the University of South Carolina.  Logan has two boys and has been happily married for 18 years. She began her career in higher education as a college professor, teaching and coordinating training for approximately 250 nursing students per semester in one class. She is now teaching graduate level nurse practitioners preparing our next generation of dedicated health care providers, and practicing as a family nurse practitioner.

An avid reader with a love for fantasy,  M.J. dedicates herself to reading at least one book a month, and writing at least one page a day while she continues to build her business as a female entrepreneur under her  alternate persona Lisa T. With 20 years in nursing her career has encompassed a varied patient population of all ages with half of that time being spent working with youths ranging from five years old to young adult.  She remains busy as she dedicates a life commitment to fulfilling the purpose that she feels God has set forth for her of encouraging and inspiring others, and the fight against childhood cancer, following her own personal experience in 2012.  She loves to share that it was her own experience with childhood cancer that led her to her dream of writing, and henceforth the birth a new kind of magical hero-

M.J.  has a list of writing credits related to academic studies and practices, yet the Maurpikios Fiddler Series was her debut work in the realm of fiction which is to be rolled out over the next few years with the True Meaning of Magic being the first of a journey for the next generation of fantasy lovers. Her first three novels in the series  all received five star ratings from Readerfavorite.com and are all Amazon Best Sellers.  She is currently working on Book IV of the Maurpikios Fiddler Series and recently released the first book in her new Trilogy “The Righting Wars”.
